This project comprised of the construction of a purpose built light industrial unit incorporating a showroom and office link building to the side. The warehouse (20,000m2) consisted of a steel frame structure, clad with insulated metal panels and incorporates the production floor and storage racking. A 2 storey concrete framed internal structure houses the paint shop, toilets and changing area on the ground floor with an open plan storage area on the 1st floor slab. The showrooms are a concrete block framed structure with in- situ slab on the 1st floor accessed by a curved concrete stairs and was fully fitted out to a modern showroom design. |
