This design build project consists of a mixed development comprising of twenty apartments, three town houses and two retail units on a unique historic site. It involved the conversion of existing derelict Mill Buildings into contemporary apartments and town houses with adjacent new build apartments. The construction sequence included the protection and stabilising of existing stone structures during the demolition of adjacent auxiliary building. The external of the buildings were repointed using traditional methods and materials. |
