This project comprised of the construction of a two storey modern specific purpose building together with auxiliary garage, and stores. The site development works included the construction of new boundary walls, fencing, drainage, car parking and the erection of a 30m high free standing radio mast. The construction methods utilised consisted of traditional strip foundations, blockwork, reinforced concrete frame, pre-cast flooring and trussed roof. Particular emphasis was placed on all finishes with particular detail required to the finishes of cells and detention rooms. |
