SHANNON FIRE STATION
Shannon, Co. Clare.
 The works comprised of the extension and complete
refurbishment of Shannon Fire Station, Shannon, Co. Clare while
maintaining a functional fire station

The works included:
The addition of three extra fire bays.
The development of the drill yard, and the inclusion of new
accommodation facilities for the crew of twelve fire service
personnel.
The demolition of existig parts of the building.
The removal and replacement of the existing flat roof over the
entire building.
A modern new general purpose and lecture room were
constructed incorporating the latest in multi media technology.
Purpose built equipment rooms housing specialist equipment for
Fire Service Personnel and Plant Rooms for all associated plant
and equipment were constructed.

Due to the requirements of the existing station to remain "live"
works were completed on a two phase approach to facilitate this
requirement.
